Major Project: Midnight blush
This project was part of my final major project in University. I produced a collection inspired by visit to Slovakia last summer. Most of my time was spent in the countryside, where I fell in love with my surroundings. My collection reflects the nature and foliage I experienced. I wanted the collection to be be really homely which I have achieved through the use of colours.
FX Carpet competition
A carpet design suitable for the public sector, may this be for an airport, hotel or a civic centre. This design combines texture and bold colours to produce a very characteristic yet commercial design.
SA1 Live Brief
A live project working with the SA1 university development, designs that are suitable for a sound proof acoustic panel for the new library. Consider in our designs the site and location of the library, the history of its location or the future in Swansea. I knew straight away I wanted my design to be inspired by the industrial history of Swansea bringing in the cities past of working with copper; I wanted my design to include copper foiling. I also wanted to bring in textures, thinking about those that are found on metals and machinery and the rusty textures they'd contain.
Mission gallery live brief
The brief was to produce a collection of products to be sold in the shop which would run along side the Heirloom of the Future exhibition. My collection was inspired from the month I spent in Slovakia as part of an internship over the summer working in a museum exhibiting traditional Slovakian lifestyle including textiles and patterns. I worked digitally using Photoshop to produce my designs. I produced a one-off collection in response to the Mission Gallery brief. This consists of three unique lampshades, each one digitally printed. The different sizes give scope to table top and pendant light options. One of the small lampshade has been designed for more of a table lamp purpose, however all designs could be used for either.

For this project the I looked at the concept of collections.I choose base this project for me off of a collection for bird figurines I collected when I The purpose of this project was to use my chosen collection of birds and nature to create a collection of designs for the interior pathway.
